A desire crops up. Your heart is telling you to just say Yes. But your head starts coming up with excuses and you don’t take any action towards your desire.
Why Do You Make Excuses?
It’s important to understand the reasons behind your excuses because the reasons will ultimately help you to change that pattern of behavior. Do you clam up due to fear or anxiety? Are you scared of your desire becoming a reality? Do you believe you’re not worthy of happiness? Do you like to make yourself a victim?
Change Your Belief – Adopt a Healthy, Positive Self Belief
If deep inside you believe you don’t deserve to be happy, then write down your thoughts. Start writing down and saying out loud that you deserve to be happy. Adopt a healthy, positive self belief.
Make Yourself Busy
Another way you can stop making excuses is to just jump towards manifesting your desire. When the excuses start fluttering into your head, then make yourself busy. Talk to your parents or friends. Go out and have a merry time. Do something to relax your nerves. Accept the thoughts and tell yourself it’s normal to feel resistance.
