Is Instant Gratification the best strategy?

Instant gratification is the name of the game today. Whether at a party or work, I feel the strategy used by most to achieve desires in life is the one that will take us the fastest to it.

When I hear stories about dating from my girlfriends, I hear how they feel disappointed that no one seems to want a relationship, rather casual sex. Other times, I hear people being promoted and instead of feeling happy and proud, they start to spiral in a vicious cycle of never-ending desires. They start to think about the fastest way to make more money, so they can buy a bigger house or car

It’s never-ending!

Use Patience to Your Advantage

Maybe it has to do with me being a Taurean, but I am a very patient person. I  believe in seizing the opportunity and not waiting for life to happen, but I am content in letting the perfect opportunity coming and then striking. It means saving my energy and using it in the best possible way so I reap the maximum fruits.

Patience means seeing all the different possibilities and nuances and details. When we rush, we don’t see all of this.

Going By Instinct

Patience is not pure strategy either. It’s going by our gut feeling. And if that means waiting to feel inspired or our inner guidance to whisper to us, then it’s worthwhile to wait and reap the rewards.

It means trusting and taking inspired action at the perfect time so the greatest results occur.
