I am excited 2015 is right around the corner! This led me to think about my resolutions for the new year. I wanted my resolutions to make me step out of my comfort zone. So they may not be completely realistic in my book of typical resolutions, but that is the point. I also want to be completely honest and embrace my desires through my resolutions.
So here they are!
Carve Out Time for Relaxation
I have spent too much time being too busy. I’ve juggled too many tasks and errands. That left me only physically and mentally exhausted. I also would become irritated with my family and loved ones.
The days and weeks seemed like a blur. I want to do things differently next year. I want to carve out ample time to relax and do the things I love. I want to connect to my stillness and my heart. I want to give myself time to let my creativity spark. I want beautiful ideas to light up in my head. I want to create more. This will happen only when I have time to connect to myself.
Sign with the Perfect Publisher for Enchanted Silence
I am so, so happy that I signed with a literary agent for my debut novel Enchanted Silence. It was literally a dream come true! I want to take this dream and desire another step forward. I want to find the perfect home for my novel. It would be a wonderful and huge learning experience to work with a publisher.
Travel!
I want to make this a reality next year. I have been talking about traveling for too long! I want to actually pack my bags and embark on some exotic adventures! I want to explore and have the grandest time of my life.
Nourish My Body and Heart with Delicious Food
I want to explore my connection with food. I want to eat food that sparks fireworks in my heart. This is also connected to the traveling aspect. I want to try different cuisines and foods in other countries. I also want to learn different recipes and cook interesting meals.
Fall in Love
I want to fall deeply in love with someone. I want to feel this divine connection. It’s the most beautiful feeling to be in love and know someone loves you. And the journey of it is even more fun and worthwhile.
