You may have noticed that I’m not as active on my website. I felt I needed a break from blogging everyday. Somehow, my heart was telling me I needed to slow down. Relax. Peer deep inside.
Many emotions have been swirling inside me. I find myself triggered by little things happening in my world. I find myself affected by things happening in my friend’s and others’ lives.
Many Changes Happening in My External World…
I am making many conscious decisions. I thought about these decisions well in advance.
They were thought out a couple months ago, but as the time has finally approached for me to actually take action, I’m feeling my stomach tighten.
Feelings of nervousness and anxiety are bubbling in me. This is only natural. I will feel some fear.
Be Real Instead of Ignoring Your Stuff
When you are feeling this fear and nervousness, it’s a sign that you are doing something right! It’s also a sign that you need to take time out of your schedule and feel all these emotions.
In other words: You need to be freaking real with yourself. When things are falling apart and you see things in your life changing, it can be a very unsettling feeling. So this is why it’s even more important to be real with yourself.
You need to pay attention to your heart and dive deeper. You need to be devoted even more to your self-care practices. For me, this means spending time with my dog, family and friends, drinking delicious smoothies, going out, meditating, running, reading, and sleeping.
Peer Deep In You
Every time you feeling those not so pleasant feelings niggling at you, it’s an opportunity for you to turn inwards. It’s a huge sign that you need to look deep inside and embrace what’s going on in your inner world.
It doesn’t mean you need to know all the answers. It simply means you are listening to yourself.
