Do you remember when life was so simple? All you wanted to do was play in the park or cry for your mother to bring your food! You can’t cry and throw fits as an adult anymore to get what you want (well, maybe some people!), but you can retain other qualities as a child.
Be Silly!
Oh my gosh, the beauty of being a child was getting away with so, so much! Being silly at the most inappropriate situations, getting the hard stare from your mother, and yet getting away with it.
Skip around your house in joy. Dance like a silly goose at your place! Laugh uncontrollably.
Watch Your Baby Videos
Thankfully, my parents made dozens of videos of my childhood. All of them are stored in our house. I can’t help but smile when I watch those videos of me pushing my brother off his scooter or playing with dolls.
Read a Book You Loved to Read as a Child
When you grow up, you forget about the simple pleasures of life. Bring that simplicity back.
Watch a Television Show You Loved as a Child
I watched the show Arthur on PBS Kids all the time as a kid! I flipped the channel and saw this show was playing. My siblings and me started to crack up!
Go to the Park and Have Lunch on a Rock or Grass
Make a sandwich and go to the park with your friend. Chat and laugh the day away!
Write a Handwritten Card
Take out a piece of paper and fold it. Write a sweet note and give it to a loved one.
